Why do you love coaching – I love coaching as my goal isn’t just to impact there lives through fitness but on a level where they can adapt to their everyday lives. I hope to reach out to people and our community using the skills we teach to help them mould into great athletes.
Goals/Aspirations – I hope to learn and gain as much experience as possible. ‘A closed mind is a dying mind’.

What would you recommend to someone who’s looking to start CrossFit – Don’t be scared to start with CrossFit right away. The one thing people don’t realise about this sport is it’s all scalable. Everybody starts somewhere.

Josh Burniston
Why do you love coaching – I love helping people to learn new skills, or to try to help them progress and improve skills they already have further! Also I love helping like minded people who all have a common goal of becoming better through fitness! All whilst making sure they’re enjoying themselves.
Goals/Aspirations – Each and everyday I want to get better as a CrossFit athlete, as a CrossFit coach and a all round person! Always looking to improve!
Favourite exercise in CrossFit to teach and you most enjoy doing yourself – The gymnastics side of CrossFit as I enjoyed learning them myself the most! Love seeing people achieve things they never thought were possible. For me that was Handstand Walks.
Exercise that you have had most trouble learning – It took me a while to learn all the Olympic lifts, as there are very technical! Also pistols as my mobility when I started wasn’t great.

Why do you love coaching – I love to help people and to see them achieve things that they never imagined possible.
Goals/Aspirations – I want to continue to develop both as a coach and a person.
Favourite exercise in CrossFit to teach and you most enjoy doing yourself – I love teaching the Snatch. It’s a complex exercise and I’m such a geek for technical lifts. I also really like doing strict movements; they are great feats of true strength… Oh and Olympic Lifting
Exercise that you have had most trouble learning – Double Unders! When I first started CrossFit I couldn’t even skip. The feeling I got when I did my first series of Double Unders was incredible and I hope to allow other people to feel the same by achieving their goals too.
Interesting Fact – I was a singer-songwriter and made it to the live auditions on X Factor!

What would you recommend to someone who’s looking to start CrossFit – CrossFit is such a welcoming and supportive community. This sport will also allow you to achieve feats with your body you cannot begin to think is possible.
